We’re back at it, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the SHKR Club journey so far - what we’ve learned, where we’ve stumbled, and how those bumps in the road have led us to this moment. SHKR Club 2.0 is here, and this time, we’re doing it right……. at least we think we are.
A ROCKY START
Building this space hasn’t been the smooth ride I imagined, more of a rollercoaster, with unexpected twists, exhilarating highs, and, yeah, a few heart-stopping drops. Our first launch was... messy. I rushed into it, full of passion but short on planning. The initial idea? Sell wall art through TikTok traction. Simple, right? Except, I skipped one crucial step, market research. I assumed everyone loved wall art as much as I do, but the market didn’t quite agree. Combine that with technical hiccups, communication breakdowns, and a scattered focus, and you’ve got a recipe for learning the hard way.
But you know what? I wouldn’t change it. Those mistakes were the foundation of what SHKR Club is becoming - a place for creators to connect, collaborate, and thrive together.
WHY SHKR CLUB EXISTS
As a creative, I’ve spent so much of my career on lonely adventures.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the process, but there’s always been this ache for community, for a space where creatives could share experiences, inspire one another, and build something bigger together. That’s what SHKR Club is about - turning what’s often a solo grind into a collective journey.

The heart of SHKR Club isn’t just me or whatever creative endeavors we’re involved with - it’s you. It’s the community we’re building together, and I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on for SHKR 2.0.
After the first launch, I knew we needed to shake things up. Step one was slowing down. If you know me, you know that’s not my natural pace. I thrive on quick action and big ideas, but this time, I’m focusing on being intentional.
I brought on a killer team to help steer the ship - huge thanks to Liisi for her endless patience and Mathilde for believing in this vision and joining for round two. And of course our talented designer and developer Nathalie and Antoine! With their help we’ve been refining every aspect of SHKR Club based on what you, the community, truly need.
This time, we’ve dived deep into market research, building a platform that doesn’t just inspire but also equips you with the tools and opportunities to succeed. From work opportunities to learning materials to creative resources - SHKR Club 2.0 is designed to be a game-changer for creators like you.

THE SHKR SHOWCASE
As part of this 2.0 journey, we also hosted our first SHKR Showcase event on December 8th. This was more than just an event; it was a celebration of everything we’ve built so far and a glimpse into where we’re headed. It was a small glimpse into SHKR Club 2.0 - a teaser, if you will.
The showcase featured some of the incredible work we’ve done over the past year, with gallery-style exhibits, mingling, and opportunities to connect with other creatives. We had the pleasure of hosting around 500 of you, and I couldn't be more grateful and thrilled to see all your faces. This is all for you. We'll be dedicating a separate post here on SHKR Club just for the event, so stay tuned!
